850 years of heritage. Grain grown on our land. A new chapter for Curraghmore Whiskey.
From the fertile fields of County Waterford comes an Irish whiskey with a remarkable sense of place.
We are proud to introduce the 2026 Curraghmore Triple Cask Single Estate Pot Still Irish Whiskey, our latest limited-edition release, crafted using barley and oats grown on the historic Curraghmore Estate in Portlaw, County Waterford.
Following the sellout success of our 2025 Triple Cask, the 2026 edition marks another exciting chapter in our journey. An additional year of maturation, a carefully evolved cask selection and the expertise of Master Distiller Noel Sweeney have created a distinctive new expression of our Single Estate whiskey.
A Single Estate Irish Whiskey Rooted in Waterford
What makes Curraghmore Whiskey truly special begins long before the whiskey reaches the cask.
At the heart of our philosophy is the belief that it starts with quality ingredients.
Set against the backdrop of the Comeragh Mountains, Curraghmore Estate is home to fertile agricultural land that has been farmed for generations. It is here that we grow the barley and oats used to produce our Single Estate Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey. Our grain is cultivated by local farmer and Head of Tillage Ned Morrissey, continuing the estate's deep-rooted connection to farming, craftsmanship and the land. Unlike whiskeys produced using grain sourced from multiple locations, our Single Estate philosophy connects our spirit to one identifiable place: Curraghmore Estate, Co. Waterford. Every bottle tells the story of where its ingredients were grown, the people who cultivated them and the centuries of heritage behind the land. This connection between grain, provenance and place is what makes Curraghmore Whiskey special.
What Makes the 2026 Triple Cask Different?
Our 2026 release represents the next stage in the evolution of Curraghmore Whiskey. Crafted from the same whiskey spirit of Single Estate Pot Still Irish Whiskey as our 2025 release, this year's edition has benefited from an additional year of maturation, allowing further complexity and character to develop.
To introduce a new dimension to the flavour profile, the 100-litre Virgin French Oak cask used in the 2025 expression has been replaced with a 220-litre Virgin American Oak cask.
The 2026 Triple Cask brings together whiskey matured separately in three carefully selected cask types:
Virgin American Oak: Contributing a distinctive oak influence, sweetness and character.
Ex-Bourbon Casks: Bringing balance, smoothness and complementary sweetness.
Ex-Oloroso Sherry Casks: Introducing richness, dried fruit character and layers of complexity.
Expertly selected and brought together by Master Distiller Noel Sweeney, these three cask influences create a harmonious expression of Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey. The result is a whiskey of depth, elegance and individuality, offering a new tasting experience while remaining true to its Curraghmore origins.
Triple Distilled Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey
Single Pot Still whiskey is one of Ireland's most distinctive and celebrated whiskey styles. Traditionally produced using a combination of malted and unmalted barley, Irish Single Pot Still whiskey is known for its rich texture, complexity and characteristic spice. Curraghmore builds upon this tradition with a carefully selected grain composition of 47.5% malted barley, 47.5% unmalted barley and 5% oats, all grown on our estate. Triple distilled and matured, our whiskey captures both the craftsmanship of traditional Irish distilling and the individuality of our Single Estate philosophy. The inclusion of estate-grown oats contributes to the distinctive character of our spirit, creating a beautifully rounded expression with a rich, silky mouthfeel. It is this commitment to grain quality, traditional craftsmanship and thoughtful maturation that defines our approach to premium Irish whiskey.
