Curraghmore Whiskey is preparing to bottle its much anticipated 2026 Triple Cask Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey at the end of August, with the new release available from 1 September 2026.
Deeply rooted in the historic Curraghmore Estate in Portlaw, Co. Waterford. The whiskey is distilled from barley and oats grown on the prestigious estate. Placing provenance, heritage and a connection to the land at the heart of the whiskey and utilising some of Ireland's richest arable soils.
The triple distilled Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey brings together three carefully selected cask influences, each chosen for their individual layer of character. These casks were hand-selected by renowned Master Distiller Noel Sweeney, and harmoniously blended together to present like waves on a tropical beach. Notes of coffee, tobacco, tropical fruits, mango, pineapple linger with a cinnamon finish.
Having benefited from an additional year of maturation since the 2025 bottling, the 2026 edition offers whiskey drinkers the opportunity to experience the continuing evolution of the distinctive Curraghmore Whiskey expression.
The Annamh Collection - A Rare Opportunity to Experience Curraghmore Whiskey One Cask at a Time
Launching alongside the 2026 Triple Cask will be an exceptionally limited release of 110 bottles. The Curraghmore Virgin French Oak Single Cask from the Annamh Collection is available in both cask strength and 46% abv editions.
The Virgin French Oak represents one of the three individual cask components that come together to create the Curraghmore Triple Cask expression. Bottled independently, it gives a rare opportunity to explore one of the individual layers and distinctive character behind our finished whiskey.
For whiskey enthusiasts and collectors, an even more limited quantity of the Virgin French Oak will also be available at cask strength, offering the opportunity to experience the whiskey at its most authentic – straight from the wood.
This release marks the beginning of our signature three-part Curraghmore Single Cask series – the Annamh Collection.
The Virgin French Oak Single Cask will be followed by an Ex-Bourbon Single Cask later in 2026, before the collection is completed with the release of an Ex-Oloroso Sherry Single Cask in 2027.
Together, these three releases will allow whiskey enthusiasts a unique viewpoint into both the distinctive parts of our Triple Cask release as well as the inquisitive craft of our master distiller, Noel Sweeney.
Richard De La Poer Beresford, Earl of Tyrone, Founder of Curraghmore Whiskey, said:
"Annamh is the Irish word for rare and of the earth. It perfectly describes what this collection represents, which is for the whiskey enthusiast to experience the historical terroir of Curraghmore Estate in its different cask expressions. These casks in the Annamh Collection were masterfully selected by the hands of Noel Sweeney. Noel chose these casks as they were his favourite in our portfolio. The collection presents a deconstruction of our triple cask Curraghmore Whiskey in either its purest form straight from the barrel or a lower abv version. Discover how each whiskey is so different in its own right but when blended together it creates a whole new array of fascinating aromas and flavours.
As a team we are incredibly excited to broaden our portfolio of products to show how Curraghmore Whiskey is making its mark in the whiskey world and what is to follow."
A Distinctive Addition to Premium Whiskey Selections

The Annamh offers whiskey enthusiasts the opportunity to own Curraghmore's inaugural collection. Alongside both our 2025 and 2026 triple cask expressions, these single casks delve deep into our maturation strategy, essentially deconstructing our triple cask whiskey and offering an insight into their individual qualities. Individual qualities that offer wildly different flavours and aromas.
