2024: A Year of Foundations, A Vision for the Future
2024 has been a year of building — a year where strategic decisions and steadfast support have laid the groundwork for our future success. Thanks to the trust and investment of our partners, we have allocated capital to key assets that will empower our team to elevate our brands onto the global stage in 2025.
At the heart of this journey is our exceptional team. A special thank you to our Marketing Manager, May Stokes, who drives our day-to-day efforts, alongside our invaluable advisors: Stephen McGivern, John Summers, and the renowned Noel Sweeney. Their passion, experience, and diverse expertise inspire great confidence as we navigate the evolving Irish whiskey landscape.
While the Irish whiskey market has experienced a global correction in sales over the past 18 months, we see this as a natural realignment following Covid-era consumer trends. Looking forward, we remain unwavering in our belief that Irish whiskey is on a trajectory of long-term growth—and we are preparing to seize this opportunity.
Looking to 2025: A Year of Milestones
We are thrilled to announce the 2025 launch of The Mad Marquess Irish Whiskey in Ireland—a bold and distinctive addition to our portfolio. Simultaneously, we will unveil our newly designed packaging across the Curraghmore Whiskey 2025 releases in the US, Ireland, and South Africa. This transformation, crafted in collaboration with Bord Bia and the exceptional team at Here Design, reflects our dual commitment: producing world-class liquid and delivering a premium packaging experience to match.
Our heartfelt thanks go to Zuilmah Wallis of Bord Bia for her expertise and guidance throughout this process. The result is something truly special—and we can’t wait to hear your thoughts on the finished product.
Curraghmore Estate: A Destination of Experience
In 2025, we are excited to launch Curraghmore Whiskey Experiences on-site at the historic Curraghmore Estate. From curated tastings and immersive dining to guided tours of the house and gardens, visitors will have the opportunity to experience the magic of our heritage firsthand. Our tasting lounge, 10 Stalls — a beautifully restored 16th-century carriage horse stables — is ready to welcome the world, offering a unique setting to enjoy our whiskies and purchase our products.
